The local jazz formation “Ausseer Jazztrio” performs at Strandcafe. In loving memory of Peter Kölbl, this tradition will continue in its 12th year.
Smooth mainstream jazz and swing from the 70ies and 80ies, paired with great food & drinks, plus the grand atmosphere on the shore of lake Altaussee will bring unforgettable evenings.

The main event in Altaussee with the best location at Strandcafe!
Every year, the illumination of lake Altaussee and its surroundings mountains during the summer festival "Berge in Flammen" is the highlight of the summer season.
We will comfort you with a special menu, a unique atmosphere and the splendid view on this lightning event.
With nightfall, the summits of Mount Loser and Trisselwand will be illuminated by Bengal fire, fireworks will be ignited from the lake in front of our terrace.
